The Petsafe Spray Collar is the premium spray bark control collar available on the market that is 100% waterproof and features a vibration sensor to detect when the dog is barking. The refill canister holds up to 10 refills and each refill will emit up to 70 sprays making this citronella bark collar very cost effective. The battery life for the Petsafe spray collar is generally 3-4 months.



How the spray collar works to stop dog barking:

The spray collar sits firmly around the dog’s neck with the actual unit situated underneath their neck (above the dog's voice box). The vibration sensor on the spray collar will detect when the dog is barking and then emit a very short burst of spray from underneath the neck up towards the dog's nose.

The short burst of spray from the collar creates a distraction whenever the dog is barking and takes the dog's attention away from whatever the dog is barking at. Most dogs don’t like the smell of lemon spray so using it as a deterrent is a great way to stop dog barking. Dogs will learn within a few weeks of wearing the spray collar that their nuisance barking causes the unpleasant spray of citrus and learn that the only way to avoid the spray is to stop barking.
